As crazy as it sounds, colonial mentality is pretty much still in our culture. Instead of seeing this in a bad light, I’d like to dedicate this post to thank all our foreign friends who used their talents and platform to showcase the beauty of my country, the Philippines and share them with the rest of the world. A single post made by a social media influencer has the power to inspire millions. Yet, the impact does not stop in just beautifying an instagram feed. Tourism has uplifted the livehood of our fellowmen and the positive ripple effect continues. Thank you for teaching locals such as myself to appreciate and to treasure what’s right in front of us. Much gratitude goes out too to Filipino bloggers who spend their own time and resources because of their love for this country. I am overwhelmed with joy to hear people saying how my country is now included in their bucketlist! #filipinolove #Philippinepride πŸ™πŸ½βœ¨πŸ“·: @iwwm
