Christmas is coming and as we all know – its time to do our Christmas shopping again. During this time, we go gift hunting for our family, relatives, friends and all the people we want to show our gratitude to. So in this article, we summed up all the stores where you can find 150 pesos worth of Christmas Gifts in Manila.

Wellmanson Beads and Accessories in Quiapo

Red Nails

Wellmanson is known for providing a wide variety of raw materials to make different pieces of jewelry. But aside from that, they also offer ready to wear costume jewelry and genuine 14 and 18 karat gold filled jewelries for only 80 pesos! They also offer As Seen on TV products like the Micro Knife (50 pesos), Clever Cutter (100+ pesos) and the famous Crazy Dog Bad Dog – all at a very cheap price.

Ylaya Street and Juan Luna

Ylaya Street

If you think 168 Mall is cheap, then you’ve never been in Ylaya Street and Juan Luna. Most of the things you will find in these streets are the same things sold inside 168 Mall but 25 to 50% cheaper. This includes a 3 piece bedsheet set that comes with 2 pillowcases and 1 bedsheet for only 150 pesos (regardless if its single, double or queen size), toys at 20 pesos, candy giveaways, wood stumps at 50 pesos, souvenirs and a lot more.

While in Juan Luna, you’d be able to find plus size underwears, hugely discounted Secosana bags, plain t-shirts, hair accessories and kitchenware. Just keep in mind that unlike in Ylaya, it’s actually cheaper to buy in the stores rather than the vendors in the street. If you are thinking of giving customized t-shirts as gifts, this is the place to visit.

Binondo Church

When visiting Juan Luna for Christmas shopping, start at Binondo church and head towards Jollibee until the end of the street. This is the place to be when you to need to find gifts for your employees, little kids, or giveaways for Christmas or birthday parties.

Papelmelroti in Roces Avenue

Although there are Papelmelroti branches in different SM Malls, their main branch in Roces Avenue offers a lot more. It offers vintage items on the second floor, get 10% discount instead of 5% if you’re a member, and more choices in all of their handcrafted products. This includes less than 100 pesos yearly organizer, costume jewelry, personalized frames and a lot more!

Every year, Books for Less has a warehouse sale where all their books are sold for 20 pesos. And the best thing about it is that new books are added every day so you don’t really need to be there on the first day to get good books. So if you’re looking for a book as a gift to the people you love, this warehouse is a must-visit.

Japan Home Center on Panay Avenue

The difference of visiting the Japan Home Center branch in Panay Avenue rather than the ones in the malls is that you get an exclusive discount if you purchase in bulk. I believe you already get a discount when you buy by 6s and 12s. If you’re looking for gifts to give to moms, car lovers, someone who loves making crafts or anything cute, you need to drop by and check this store.

Some of our best buy in this store are Asian themed tea sets, car accessories, home items, all at 88 pesos or 66 pesos each.  And did I mention this branch has 2 floors and has a lot of items not usually seen in other branches.

Factory Overruns in Muntinlupa City and Kitanlad

Now if you’re thinking of giving branded clothes and shoes as gifts but do not have the budget, you should visit Factory Overruns. According to their Facebook page, they sell imported brands like Vans, Converse, Esprit, and so much more for as low as 35 pesos for clothes and 499 pesos for branded shoes.

Lazada.com.ph

Now if you don’t have time to go out, you can always count on Lazada to help you with your Christmas shopping. You can find almost any item you can think of on this website, sometimes even things you can’t find in the Philippines. Some of the best find we got there is a monopod that converts to a tripod for 130 pesos, travel wallet for only 80 pesos and even branded make ups such as L’Oréal for 150 pesos.
