Each Filipino can loan up at least 450,000 pesos and will only pay as little as 1,897 pesos each month. They offer programs for up to 30 years so it can really help every Filipino family have their own place they call home.

If you like “paluwagan” or investing for your future, I recommend trying the Pag-IBIG Savings program. Qualified members who take advantage of this program will be given access to their Short-Term Loans or STL which is useful when there are emergencies.
The monthly savings with Pag-IBIG is only 100 pesos a month but can be increased if you like. The member can then withdraw all her savings after 20 years or 240 monthly contributions. However, in case of urgency, the member can also withdraw it for the following reasons:

Pag-IBIG II (MP2) Program
Another voluntary savings program by Pag-IBIG is the MP2 Program that guarantees the member an interest for all their savings and a shorter maturity period. For example, a monthly 500 contribution can get the member 34,484.17 after 5 years while a 5,000 contribution will get the member a total of 344,841.65 after 5 years. That is a total of 4,484.17 to 44,841.65 earnings in 5 years for doing nothing.
When calamity strikes, Pag-IBIG members can avail up to 80% of their total accumulated value through their calamity loan programs. The best thing about this loan is that it can be amortized for 24 months and gives a 3 month grace period. All you need to do is bring all their required documents and you can apply to any Pag-IBIG office nationwide.
