Where to Find Cheap Flights to Manila

There are five airline companies that offer cheap flights to Manila to consider. These are Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Air Asia Jet Star and Tiger Airways. I compared the flight cost to other international airlines and none of them are as cheap as what these five airlines offer.

Cheapest Manila Flights

Based on my research, the cheapest flight to Manila is offered by Tiger Airways, followed by Cebu Pacific and Air Asia. The prices are even better if you plan in advance because you can wait for promo fares before buying. As of posting, the cheapest flight I saw to Manila from a western country is around 17,000 to 22,000 pesos while Asian countries cost 2,000 to 4,000 pesos. Prices are expected to get lower on promo fares so its good to subscribe to their newsletter or visit their website every 2 weeks.

Philippine Airlines vs Other Airlines

In terms of service, Philippine Airlines has better Manila flights compared to the other four. And since the prices between all five airlines usually have 1,000 to 5,000 pesos difference, you can opt to choose Philippine Airlines if you value service. Moreover, Philippine airlines offer better food, seats and the only one that offers interactive TV (which is useful for long flights). Although I have never tried Jetstar and Tiger Airways so I could be wrong.

Cheap Flights from Manila to Any Part of the Philippines

Now if you’re looking for a flight from Manila to any part of the Philippines, I strongly suggest Cebu Pacific and Air Asia. These flights range from 30 minutes to 2 hours so you don’t really need class A service because you’d probably be sleeping all the way to your destination. If you plan early or arrive at a time when a promo sale is up, you can get a trip to Boracay for 500 pesos – round trip! However, this rate doesn’t come often so a round trip to Boracay at 2,000 pesos is not bad.

Tips in Finding Cheap Flights Philippines

My tip in finding┬ácheap tickets Philippines is to plan early and subscribe to airline newsletter. In this way, you can decide what dates you’re going and have enough time to wait for promo fares to be up and reserve your tickets.
